Nowadays, industrial aluminum profiles are widely used in all aspects of the industry. Although the comprehensive performance of aluminum profiles is excellent, many problems are still found in the actual use of customers. The more prominent problem is that standard aluminum profiles cannot fully meet the needs of use. At this time, aluminum extrusion manufacturers often ask customers to open molds for customization, also known as profile mold opening. So what are special shaped aluminum profiles?

Special shaped aluminum profiles are also known as non-standard aluminum profiles:

Industrial aluminum profiles are usually divided into two categories: one is a conventional assembly line profile, and the other is a special profile (open mold custom profile) assembly line profile. Conventional assembly line profiles, these materials are made of 6063 aluminum alloy, and the surface is sanded and oxidized. These products are stocked in large quantities throughout the year.

Special shaped aluminum profiles belong to personalized profiles. According to the needs of each customer's own equipment and products, we provide one-to-one service for mold making, material requirements, surface treatment, and later CNC machining.

Special shaped aluminum profiles mold opening and customization process:

After the customer decides to open the mold for customization, please provide the drawings or samples, and the technical department will design the CAD drawing according to the customer's development needs. After both parties confirm that the drawings are correct, sign and seal for confirmation, and then proceed to mold opening.

The manufacturing cycle of the mold will vary according to the diameter of the circumscribed circle, generally ranging from one week to half a month. After the mold is made, it is necessary to test the mold first. The quality control department will check whether the sample is qualified and issue a sample inspection report. Send samples to customers, after customers confirm the samples are correct, and then place bulk orders.
