How to produce aluminum profile, how to deal with the oxidation problem?

Aluminum profile belongs to the common processing products, do you understand its production process?

1. Cast

The molten aluminum is cooled and cast into round rods of various specifications by deep well casting system under corresponding casting process conditions.

2. Squeeze

Firstly, according to the section of the profile product, the mold is designed and manufactured, and the heated round casting rod is extruded from the mold by the extruder. An air cooling quenching process followed by an artificial aging process is also used during extrusion to complete the heat treatment strengthening.

3. Color and oxidize

The surface corrosion resistance of the extruded aluminum alloy profile is not strong, and the surface treatment must be carried out by anodic oxidation to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of the aluminum.

Notes on aluminum profile oxidation

1. Rinse with hot water

The purpose of hot water washing is to aging the film, the appropriate temperature is 40 ~ 50℃, the time is 0.5 ~ 1MIN.

2. Dry

It is better to dry naturally. The workpiece of filling barley flushed with hot water is hung slanted on the shelf, so that the free water on the working surface flows down in a vertical direction.

3. Aging

According to the climate conditions to decide, there is daylight in the summer can be exposed in the sun, rainy days or winter available oven baking.

4. Repair of unqualified parts

Unqualified conductive oxide film parts should be picked out before drying and aging process to avoid affecting the roughness of the workpiece surface.
