The production of general aluminum profiles mainly has three processes: Casting, extrusion and surface treatment. Casting is the first process of the production of general aluminum profiles. The main process is based on the need to produce specific number, calculate the amount of various alloy components, reasonable collocation of various raw materials.

The prepared raw materials are added to the melting furnace according to the technological requirements, and the gas and impurities in the melt are effectively removed by degassing and slagging refining means. After that, the molten aluminum is cooled and cast into various specifications of round casting rods by deep well casting system under certain casting process conditions.

The second step in the production of general aluminum profiles is extrusion, which is the means of forming general aluminum profiles. The mold is designed and manufactured according to the section of the profile product, and then the heated round casting rod is extruded from the mold by extruding machine.

There is also an air-cooled quenching process during extrusion and a subsequent manual aging process to complete the heat treatment strengthening. The heat treatment methods are different for different types of heat-treatable alloys.

Finally, surface treatment, including electrophoresis coating, anodic oxidation, fluorine carbon spraying, powder spraying, wood grain transfer and so on. Extrusion good general aluminum profiles, its surface corrosion resistance is not strong, it is necessary to increase the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and appearance of general aluminum profiles by surface treatment.
