After the surface treatment of high intensity industrial aluminum profiles, a tutelar film can be formed to block the air, so that the aluminum profiles are not oxidized. This is also one of the reasons many customers choose to use high-strength aluminum profiles, because there is no need to paint, and the maintenance cost is low.
What is aluminum surface treatment? High strength industrial aluminum profiles anodizing is to put aluminum profiles into sulfuric acid, chromic acid or oxalic acid solution, electrolytic aluminum as anode oxidation under the action of current, and its surface oxidation to form 5-30μm oxide film. Thus improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high temperature resistance and decoration of the surface of industrial aluminum profiles. The process of forming an anodized film is called anodizing of aluminum profiles. In order to make the aluminum shell achieve a certain function or adapt to a certain environment, the high-strength aluminum profile needs to be anodized after production to obtain a protective film, which can greatly extend the service life of the high-strength aluminum profile.
So how to determine whether high-strength industrial aluminum profiles have been anodized
1. Color observation
The surface gloss of pure aluminum with oxide film decreases, and the cast aluminum and miscellaneous aluminum are gray and black. The surface of the non-oxide film is bright white with a metallic luster.
2. Scrape the surface
A surface that has formed an oxide film is very hard, will slip when scratched with a needle, and has no scratches, and a surface that has not formed an oxide film is very soft, and will have resistance and scratches when scratched with a needle.
3. Listen to the sound
When the oxide film is produced, it will make a crisp sound, and when the oxide film is not produced, it will make a low sound.
4. Resistance measurement
The resulting oxide film has a resistance during detection and does not conduct electricity at atmospheric pressure. A test chamber without oxide film can conduct electricity.
5. Color inspection
The oxide film that has already formed can be quickly stained in the dyeing solution without adhesion, while the oxide film that has not formed cannot be stained in the dyeing solution.
