Aluminium extrusion profile is formed by extruding a heated aluminum billet through a mold with a desired cross-section through a certain pressure. The formed aluminium extrusion profile is lightweight, strong, corrosion resistant and shaped like a die opening. Usually, the mold is made of hard steel or cemented carbide. There are two general methods of aluminum extrusion profile, direct extrusion (same as forward extrusion) and indirect extrusion (same as reverse extrusion).
