Aluminum radiator profiles is now widely used in the radiator market. Most users are increasingly favoring the use of aluminum radiator. However, after purchasing and installing the aluminum radiator, the trouble point to consider comes.
Due to the existence of porosity and shrinkage cavity, it is very difficult to surface the die cast of profile radiator. There may be water in these holes. When baking after painting and electroplating, the gas in the hole is heated and expanded, or the water vapor in the hole expands, resulting in foam on the surface of the casting.
Therefore, we should adopt appropriate methods to solve these problems, so that the problems in production can be well solved. The solution of impurities in aluminum radiator profiles: The key is to reduce the amount of gas in the casting. The ideal metal flow should be continuously accelerated from the nozzle through the shunt cone and runner into the mold cavity to form a smooth and consistent metal flow. The conical runner design is adopted, that is, the pouring flow from the nozzle to the gate should be gradually reduced to achieve this purpose. In the filling system, the gas mixture forms pores due to turbulence mixing with liquid metal. It can be seen from the study of simulating the die casting process of metal liquid entering the mold cavity from the casting system that the sharp transition position of the sprue and the increased cross-sectional area of the sprue will cause the metal flow to produce turbulence and enlivened air, while the stable molten metal is conducive to the flow of gas from the sprue and the mold cavity to the overflow groove and the exhaust groove and the mold out. Shrinkage cavity can be avoided through rational design of water nozzle, gate thickness and position, mold design, mold temperature control and cooling.
