How long does it take for industrial aluminum profiles to get the template?

Many customers ask why it takes how long to open a mold, so let's look at what we need to do as a mold:

First of all, industrial aluminum profiles can be divided into advection mold and shunt mold.

Advection mold: extrusion of industrial aluminum profiles without hollow.

Shunt die: That is to say, the industrial aluminum profiles squeezed out are hollow, such as aluminum tube, aluminum shell, aluminum square pass and so on.

Shunt die needs multiple combination die, than advection die complex, production cost is high, mainly refer to the following indicators:

1. Section size: The most important cycle indicator is to look at the section size of industrial aluminum profiles. It takes longer to process molds with large cross-sectional areas. Considering that the extrusion die requires wire cutting, the large cross-sectional area means that the wire cutting time is longer.

2. Size of aluminum extrusion die: The size of aluminum extrusion die takes the diagonal angle as the main reference index, such as the diagonal angle is only 30-50mm, generally 3 to 5 days can be sampled, so that the diagonal angle of 300-500mm may take 15 days or even longer.

The time of mold opening customization for industrial aluminum profiles is generally determined by the section size of the product. Generally speaking, the large section of mold opening time is long, and the opposite is short. For products with 50mm section to be customized, the mold production time is 5-7 days, and then with the sample time, it will probably take about 10-15 days from production to shipment.

If the product is large, it will take a long time. For the product over 150mm, the mold production time will be about 10-15 days, and the mold trial time will be about 20-25 days.
